If nutrition has ever felt confusing, inconsistent, or like something you keep "failing" at, there's usually a reason.
And it's not your fault.
Mental health, neurodivergence, medications, and the realities of daily life all affect how we eat.
Standard nutrition advice rarely accounts for any of it.
Have you ever ...
-
Felt stuck between rigid food rules and just trust your body advice?
-
Felt like your hunger and fullness cues are inconsistent, confusing, or hard to trust?
-
Wanted nutrition support that considers your mental health, stress, and medications?
-
Felt like you're doing everything "right" and still stuck?
You're not the problem.
If following through with food feels hard, the approach probably hasn't fit your life.
The 4 principles behind every care plan
Mental energy first
We start with capacity, not calories. Some days are surviving days. Some are thriving days. The plan adapts either way.
Mental-load supportive
Worksheets, visuals, and cheat sheets designed to reduce decision fatigue, not add another task to your plate.
Food flexibility
A food-neutral approach that honors culture, comfort, and familiarity. No "good" or "bad" foods, no "healthier" versions of dishes you love.
Body cues, gently rebuilt
Hunger and fullness work differently when mental health and medications are in the mix. We rebuild that trust slowly, without pressure.
Find a way that fits your life.
Same approach. Different levels of structure and guidance.
Program Options
The Well-Minded Method programming offers the structure of a plan and the flexibility of intuitive eating, designed for people whose mental energy and capacity shift day to day.
Includes practical tools that support consistency on the days motivation and energy are low.
Available self-guided or can be incorporated alongside 1:1 counseling.

Registered Dietitian
I'm a registered dietitian with over a decade of clinical experience, including years working in mental health and substance use treatment settings. There, I saw firsthand how often standard nutrition advice fails people whose lives are genuinely complicated.
I built The Well-Minded Plate and created The Well-Minded Plate Method for nutrition that actually accounts for mental health, capacity, and real-life barriers.
This space is for people who aren't looking for another generic meal plan. And for those who need something realistic that works with their full life, not against it.
